Design was a newly built function in qure. That meant we had a very development-led process in place and design was often an afterthought. This led to resorting to quick fixes as we scaled and an overall bad user experience.

As part of improving the user experience and bringing consistency across platforms, I created a design language system. This was also important as we were scaling very rapidly.
